What if it rains?

Our festival is an OUTDOOR festival.  Our vendors know how to plan for days that it could rain.  Our visitors STILL COME OUT.  We've seen tens of thousands still out shopping and milling around in full on rain days.  That's how much our festival is loved.  So if rain is in the forecast, bring the boots and the umbrella's and you can still enjoy all your favorite foods, sights and sounds during the weekend.

What if storms happen - am I safe?

The Johnny Appleseed Festival follows a weather emergency action plan as prepared and directed by the Office of Homeland Security.  During The Festival we have a complete weather station on-site and monitor weather conditions throughout the festival as well as monitoring local news stations.  We also have a weather alert system in place using our stages as announcement mechanisms to our visitors in the event of inclement weather.  The festival doesn't close down if it rains.  However, if severe weather is moving into the area we will start notifying our guests via our stages on the various threat levels as declared by the National Weather Service.

How can I follow the local weather?
